If personal data are collected on the website or associated services, this is always done on a voluntary basis as far as possible. The collection is always in accordance with the GDPR and in accordance with the country-specific rules applicable to Cool Expert.
In accordance with Art. 32 GDPR Cool Expert has implemented suitable technical and organizational measures to ensure the most complete protection of personal data on the website and associated services, taking into account the state of the art, implementation costs and the nature, scope, circumstances and purpose of the processing and the likelihood and severity of the risk to the rights and freedoms of data subjects. Cool Expert generally renounces automatic decision making (according Art. 22 GDPR) or profiling.

If Cool Expert hires third parties to process data on the basis of a so-called processing contract, this is done in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
If Cool Expert processes data in a third country (ie outside the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA)) or in the context of the use of third party services or disclosure or transmission of data to third parties, this is done only if it is to fulfill the (pre) contractual obligations, based on your consent, due to a legal obligation or based on the legitimate interests of Cool Expert. According to Art. 7 par. 3 GPDR you have the right to revoke all granted consent with effect for the future. In accordance with Art. 21 GDPR, you can decline the future processing of your data at any time.
If a data subject wishes to avail himself of this right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction or objection, he or she may, at any time, make use of the contact details provided above to contact Cool Expert. Furthermore, Cool Expert is available for questions on the collection, processing and use of your personal data.
The data processed by Cool Expert are deleted or limited in their processing in accordance with Art. 17 and 18 GDPR. Unless explicitly stated in this data privacy policy, the data stored by Cool Expert will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for its purpose and the deletion does not conflict with statutory retention requirements. If the data is not deleted because they are required for other and legally permitted purposes, their processing will be restricted, i.e. the data is blocked and not processed for other purposes. This applies, for example to data that must be kept for commercial or tax reasons.
Communication with the website and associated services uses a secure connection (encrypted, recognizable by the lock symbol and "https" in the address bar of the browser of your access device) and is thus largely protected against access by third parties.
The hosting services used by Cool Expert are for the purpose of providing the following services: infrastructure and platform services, computing capacity, storage space and database services, e-mail distribution, security services as well as technical maintenance services, for the purpose of operating the website and associated services.

Cool Expert or the commissioned hosting provider collects data on every access to the website and related services (so-called server log files) on the basis of the legitimate interests of Cool Expert within the meaning of Art. 6 par. 1 f GDPR. This data is automatically transmitted by the browser of your access device. This access data can include the name of the retrieved web page, the date and time of the retrieval, the amount of data transferred, the successful retrieval message, the browser type, the user's operating system, the referrer URL (the previously visited page), the IP address, the requesting provider and other similar data and information.
Cool Expert uses the log data only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and optimization of the website and associated services. However, Cool Expert reserves the right to check the log data at a later date if, due to specific reasons, there is a legitimate suspicion of unlawful use.
Logfile information is stored for security purposes (for example, to investigate abusive or fraudulent activities) for a maximum of 7 days and then deleted or completely anonymized. Data whose further retention is required for evidential purposes shall be exempted from deletion until final clarification of the incident.
When using these general data and information, Cool Expert does not draw any conclusions about single users. The anonymous data of the server log files are stored separately from all personal data provided by users. A merge of this data with other data sources will not be done.

When contacting Cool Expert (for example, by contact form or by e-mail) your personal data will be stored for the purpose of processing the request as well as in the event that follow-up questions arise even without a personal account according to Art. 6 par. 1 b GDPR.
By entering your personal data (e.g. name, address, e-mail address) on the website and associated services, you give us your consent to store your personal data as well as to use this personal data to contact you or to send you the requested information.
If the contact takes place without a personal account on the website or associated services, the personal data will be erased automatically after the request has been processed.
Cool Expert does not disclose this personal data to third parties.
Users have the opportunity to register on the website or its associated services by providing personal information. Which personal data are transmitted to Cool Expert is determined by the respective input mask used for the registration and can then be viewed in the user profile. If you have terminated your user account, all data relating to the user account will be deleted, subject to a statutory retention obligation. It is up to you to back up your data before deletion. Cool Expert is entitled to irretrievably delete all data stored with reference to your user account when deleting the user account.
When using the registration functions as well as when using a user account, Cool Expert logs the IP address and the time of the respective user action. The logging is based on the legitimate interests of Cool Expert, as well as the user's protection against misuse and other unauthorized use. A transfer of these data to third parties does not take place, unless it is necessary to prosecute the claims of Cool Expert or there is a legal obligation to do so according to Art. 6 par. 1 c GDPR. The IP addresses will be anonymized or deleted after 7 days at the latest.
If you comment or post other content on the website or its associated services, your IP address is stored based on the legitimate interests of Cool Expert according to Art. 6 Abs. 1 f GDPR for 7 days. This is done for the security of Cool Expert, if any illegal content is found in comments and contributions (insults, prohibited political propaganda, etc.). In this case, Cool Expert may itself be responsible for the comment or contribution and is therefore interested in the author's identity.
Cool Expert also reserves the right, based on the legitimate interests of Cool Expert according to Art. 6 par. 1 f GDPR, to process user entered information in order to detect spam.
The data provided in the comments and contributions will be permanently stored by Cool Expert until the users objection.
It may happen that within the website and associatated services, third-party content, such as videos from YouTube, maps from Open Street Maps / Bing Maps / Microsoft, Google Fonts, RSS Feeds or graphics (collectively referred to as "content") is integrated from other websites on the basis of legitimate interests of Cool Expert (i.e., to provide functions, interest in analysis, optimization and economic operation of the website and associated services within pursuant to art. 6 par. 1 f GDPR). This always assumes that the third party providers of this content recieve your IP address. Without the IP address, it would not be possible to provide the content in your browser. The IP address is thus required for the presentation of this content.
Cool Expert strives to use only content whose respective providers use the IP address only for the delivery of the content. However, Cool Expert has no control if third party providers save and prcoess IP addresses e.g. for statistical purposes. As far as Cool Expert is aware, Cool Expert will inform visitors about this.
Third parties may also use so-called pixel tags (invisible graphics, also referred to as "web beacons") for statistical or marketing purposes. The "pixel tags" can be used to evaluate information such as visitor traffic on pages of the website and associated services that incorporate content from third parties. The application process requires applicants to provide Cool Expert with the candidate data. The necessary applicant data are derived from the job descriptions, which in principle includes the personal details, postal and contact addresses and the documents that belong to the application, such as cover letter, CV and certificates. In addition, applicants can voluntarily provide additional information to Cool Expert.
By submitting the application to Cool Expert, applicants agree to the processing of their data for the purposes of the application process in accordance with the nature and scope set out in this data privacy policy.
Insofar as special categories of personal data within the meaning of Art. 9 par. 1 GDPR are voluntarily provided in the context of the application procedure, their processing is additionally carried out in accordance with Art. 9 par. 2 b GDPR (for example health data such as disability or ethnic origin). It should be noted, however, that e-mails are generally not sent encryptedand the applicants themselves have to ensure the encryption.
